Bill Delivers $28 Million
for Okanagan College

For too many years our South Okanagan youth were forced to pursue their educational opportunities elsewhere.  Enrolment was on the decline at Okanagan College and some even suggested that closure of the Penticton Campus was inevitable.
 
Working together with the Okanagan College Board, staff and students, Bill has helped secure funding to provide many new and important programs.   A new trades program was created at the new Martin Street campus and a new LPN program trains nurses right here in Penticton.  A new residential care aide program is offered from Penticton as well.
 
The result?   Enrolment is on the increase, local students have new skills that lead to jobs in our community.  With the recently announced new Centre for Excellence Campus expansion, the future for Penticton students has never looked brighter!
