Bill Delivers Hockey Hall of Fame Funding

Hockey has long been an integral part of Penticton’s community.   From our former world champion Penticton Vees to our countless NHL stars, referees and current Penticton Vees our region has a very proud hockey legacy.

Over the years, dedicated volunteers have established the BC Hockey Hall of Fame in Memorial Arena.  With the construction of the new South Okanagan Event Center, the opportunity arose to create a new and improved, vastly expanded BC Hockey Hall of Fame.   The only barrier was funding.

Working together with members of the society, Bill delivered $100,000 in funding to allow this great tribute to British Columbia Hockey History become a reality in the new SOEC.   Bill thanks all of the many volunteers and local Penticton businesses that helped make this possible.
